TDAP to organise 3rd Aalishan Pakistan exhibition in London in May

LAHORE: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has asked business community to participate in 3rd edition of Aalishan Pakistan in London.

TDAP is giving traders an opportunity to showcase their products and develop business with international buyers. Traders would also get access to the duty-free market of European Union under the GSP Plus status.

In the exhibition Pakistani traders would present different products like fashion wear, readymade garments (denim, woven, knitwear, upholstery and lawn prints), leather garments, fashion accessories, jewellery, handicrafts, footwear, electronics, fans, furniture, surgical instruments, sports goods, beauty care products, cosmetic and herbal products, marble and granite, onyx, processed food items, rice and other agro products.

The exhibition will start on May 29 and end on May 31 while the last date to submit application is February 4.

Earlier, the exhibition was held in India last year where 320 stalls ranging from garments to textiles were arranged and more than 45 brands and designer participated in this forum. During four-day exhibition, an art exhibition for young artists, a fashion show, business meeting and seminar were also conducted.

A TDAP official said that the purpose of this exhibition was to show a soft image of Pakistan to the international community as well as increasing the country’s exports.
