Tickets issued to 100 vehicles during special operation

MULTAN: The district administration has issued tickets to 100 vehicles and imposed a fine of Rs 500,000 during an operation here on Wednesday.

Four joint teams of the Excise and Taxation department and Regional Transport Authority set up pickets at different entry points in the city. The officials impounded 70 vehicles, issued tickets to 100 vehicles and also imposed a fine of Rs 500,000. Secretary RTA Kashif Dogar while talking to the media said the operation would be carried out on daily basis.
