Transformation plan: FBR re-designates members’ positions

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue has re-designated members’ positions under the transformation plan.

Federal Board of Revenue has issued a notification regarding FBR’s Transformation/Restructuring.

In pursuance of decisions taken by the Board in its meeting held on 18.09.2024 as circulated vide FBR’s letter No.6(96)S(MoB)/2024-25 dated 27.09.2024, the following re-designations, merger and reporting lines of posts in FBR(Hqes), Islamabad are made, with immediate effect and until further orders.

The post of Member (Public Relations) is re-designated as Member (Taxpayers Services);

The post of Member(Accounting) is re-designated as Member (Organizational Audit.

The posts of Member (Information Technology) and Member (Digital Initiatives) are merged and re-designated as Director General (Information Technology and Digital Transformation). DG DG (IT (IT &DT) shall report to Member (IR-Operations), (18-4 FBR).

The Director General (Revenue Analysis) shall report to Member (IR-Policy), FBR

The Director General, Internal Audit (IR) shall report to the Member (Organizational Audit).

The powers and functions of the Member (Information Technology) and Member (Digital Initiatives) shall be exercised by the Member (IR-Operational).
