Tucson Hispanic Chamber releases its 1st ever US Market Outlook

ALABAMA: The Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has released its first-ever Southern Arizona Hispanic Market Outlook. The report outlines demographic information about the area’s Hispanic Community, showing a population that tends to be younger than the local average, and totaling 37 percent of the population of Pima, Cochise and Santa Cruz counties.

The report also examined other detailed information about the population.Some details include that Hispanics have 25 percent of the area’s purchasing power, and are responsible for 18 percent of health care spending. The report’s section on small business ownership caught the attention of Hispanic Chamber President Lea Marquez-Peterson.
