NEW JERSY: Two Camden County men were arrested Saturday after a motor vehicle stop by borough police allegedly yielded 46 bags of heroin, among other drugs.
Roberto Santiago, of Voorhees, and Kwame Trusty, of Camden, were traveling along Route 73 around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday when they were stopped by Berlin police, who say that the duo allegedly provided false names to officers.
A police K-9 with the Voorhees Police Department was called to the scene and reportedly detected narcotics inside the vehicle.
Berlin police say three jars of marijuana, two bags of heroin and the aforementioned heroin was seized as a result of the search.
Santiago and Trusty were subsequently arrested and are set to appear in Camden County Superior Court on pending charges.
