NEW YORK: US Customs and Border Protection has initiated a pedestrian expansion project aimed at enhancing and expanding their ability to address a growing number of pedestrians arriving at the Port of San Luis. The introduction of new kiosk technology and two additional lanes may help reduce wait times.

Port Director John Schwamm says the project will be completed in four phases and consists of eight pre-primary kiosks enabling travelers to input their travel documents prior to making contact with CBP officers at the processing booths.
