TUCSON: Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a Mexican national at the Port of Douglas (Raul Hector Castro POE) for an alleged attempt to smuggle almost 267 pounds of marijuana worth more than $133,000.
Officers arrested Francisco Alejandro Estrada-Orduno, 19, after an inspection of his Saturn SUV led to the discovery of marijuana hidden throughout the vehicle.
Officers seized the drugs and vehicle, and turned Estrada over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
