US Headland Chamber announces to 44th annual HDF

ALABAMA:The Headland Area Chamber of Commerce is planning its 44th annual Harvest Day Festival (HDF). The festival is scheduled for Oct. 10 around the town square.“We have been working non-stop preparing for all of the activities associated with our Harvest Day Festival,” said Rhonda Harrison, executive director of the chamber.

“We are hoping this year’s festival will be the largest festival yet.”Harvest Day activities will kick off  Sept. 21, with the annual Harvest Day Pageant. The pageant will begin in the Headland High School auditorium. Admission is $5 per person. Age divisions are Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss and Miss.

The photogenic category will be a separate category and does not count towards the contestants’ scores. The fee for photogenic division is $5 per picture and is optional. The next Harvest Day activity leading up to the festival is the annual Harvest Run.
