Valuation of press-fasteners, snap fasteners, press-studs determined

KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue’s Directorate General of Customs Valuation has revised values of press-fasteners, snap fasteners and press-studs.

The values of press-fasteners, snap fasteners and press-studs were determined through Valuation Ruling No.899/2016 as the prices of the producers hiked in the international market as compared to the values imposed vide Valuation Ruling No.746/2015.

The customs values of values of press-fasteners, snap fasteners and press-studs and parts thereof (iron/steel) of China are fixed at $2.0/kg; of Taiwan at $2.2/kg of Japan at $3.1/kg and all other origins at $2.35/kg.

The customs values of values of press-fasteners, snap fasteners and press-studs and parts thereof (plastic) of China are fixed at $2.4/kg; of Taiwan at $2.65/kg of Japan at $3.4/kg and all other origins at $2.9/kg.

The customs values of values of press-fasteners, snap fasteners and press-studs and parts thereof (stainless steel) of China are fixed at $2.8/kg; of Taiwan at $3.1/kg of Japan at $4.35/kg and all other origins at $3.3/kg.

The customs values of values of press-fasteners, snap fasteners and press-studs and parts thereof (brass) of China are fixed at $4.1/kg; of Taiwan at $4.4/kg of Japan at $5.2/kg and all other origins at $4.65/kg.
