Wagha Customs to make clearance of another 118 stranded Indians on August 10

LAHORE: Customs team deputed at Wagha border will make clearance of another 118 Indian national stranded in Pakistan due to Covid 19 pandemic via Wagha border on August 10, official sources said.

As per details, fresh list of 118 stranded Indians in Pakistan (led by Ms. Gulzar Begum. Passport No. L3265475) 2 will clear to go back to India through Wagah border on 1o August. 2020.

The border authorities have been urged to take necessary health security protocols.

It is requested that the subject 118 Indian nationals be repatriated.

Earlier, as many as 748 Indian nationals stranded in Pakistan due to coronavirus lockdown were set to return to their country in three batches after going through necessary health protocols.

It is requested that their repatriation to India through Wagah Border takes place in three batches on June 25, June 26 and June 27, following necessary health security protocols,” read the letter issued by Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior.

Last month, several batches of stranded Pakistani nationals were repatriated via Attari-Wagah Border.
