ISLAMABAD: Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) Chairman Zafar Mehmood on Monday tendered resignation from his post by citing personal reasons.
Zafar Mehmood thanked the prime minister for reposing confidence in him and extending full support to him as the chairman Wapda. He said the prime minister gave him the opportunity to serve as a Wapda chairman. He said he has sent his resignation to the prime minister but he would continue to work till the appointment of a new chairman.
