Warm welcoming party arranged for newly transferred Collector Ch Zulfiqar

ISLAMABAD: Chief Collector North Region Jawad Agha welcomed the newly appointed Ch Zulfiqar Ali as Collector Model Customs Collectotate Islamabad.

A warm welcoming party was held at the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Islamabad in honor of the recently transferred Collector Dr. Saeed Khan Jadoon who worked at the MCC Islamabad for five months and now transferred to MCC Pshawar as Collector. Ch Zulfiqar Ali has assumed the charge of Collector MCC Islamabad after relinquishing his charge as Collector Preventive Lahore and Collector Customs Faisalabad.
Ch Zulfiqar has been working on various posts at the Customs Department and enjoyed good reputation. During his tenure as Collector Customs Faisalabad, he took a number of initiatives to control the smuggling and increase revenues.
Due to his far reaching efforts, the Collectorate of Preventive Lahore was able to increase the collection of sales tax, customs duty, withholding tax and other taxes besides undertaking a number of initiatives to curtail the smuggling.
