World Bank representative calls on Member Customs Nasir Masroor

ISLAMABAD: World Bank Representative in Pakistan Micheal Best has called on Member Customs Federal Board of Revenue Nasir Masoor in the FBR Headquarters.

During the meeting, matters of Pakistan Customs and tax reforms issues were discussed. The World Bank representative will compile a report about tax system in Pakistan. Member FBR Nasir Masoor briefed the envoy about tax reforms and informed him that all systems of the FBR have been computerized and different measures are being taken to bring more reforms in IT system.

He informed WB representative that present administration is focusing to make tax system easy and transparent. World Bank representative hailed the performance of FBR and said that after his fruitful meeting with Member Customs FBR he understood lot of issues related to tax system of Pakistan.
