Xolo introduces entry-level Era smartphone, which is priced at Rs 4,444

NEW DELHI: Xolo has introduced entry-level Era smartphone, which is priced at Rs 4,444. The phone will be exclusively available on Snapdeal, and the registrations for the same will start on July 9.

The dual-sim smartphone, which is only available in back colour, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854p) IPS display.

Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, the smartphone offers 8GB internal storage. Users can slip in microSD cards of up to 32GB capacity for additional storage.

Xolo Era packs a 2,100mAh and comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera.

The phone supports 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS on connectivity front.

Xolo Era will compete with Huawei Honor Bee, first-generation Moto E, and Micromax Canvas Spark in the sub-Rs 5,000 segment.
