Zero-percent tax granted to 150-tonne dates donated by Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has allowed zero-percent sales tax on import of 150 tons of dates gifted by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Pakistan government.

The tax free dates have been formally handed over on Thursday by Abdul Rahman Saad AlTwaim and Raid Abdullah H. AlGhamdi, representatives of the Saudi Arabia to Cabinet Division, Islamabad. Senior officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cabinet Division were also present.
