4,641 out of 7,444 registered companies not paying tax: FBR, SECP

ISLAMABAD: As many as 4,641 out of 7,444 registered companies are not filing income tax returns, revealed by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

FBR has already pointed out 9,721 companies before the SECP which have not filed income tax returns for the tax year 2014, but had filed tax returns in 2013.
