Additional Collector Salman Yaqub killed his wife over domestic dispute

PESHAWAR: The Additional Collector Customs Collectorate Salman Yaqub was arrested on Wednesday by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police.

The additional collector was arrested for killing his wife aged 40 years named Gull Sanga at Customs Quarters in Town area. According to Town Police weapon has also been recovered from the possession of additional collector and he has been shifted to jail. The additional collector said to be seriously drug addicted for the reason he murdered his wife as written in the FIR .

According to further detail the Additional Collector Salman Yaqub opened fire which killed his wife. The FIR has been filed by brother of Gull Sanga against Salman Yaqub.

Police revealed that case seems to be of internal matter for which the accused will be produced before the court after which furthermore investigation will be carried out.

The woman Gull Sanga belonged from Pabbi area of Nowshra who has been shifted to hospital after which will be brought to her home town. Customs Today tried to reach customs authorities but they forbid to share any information.
