ASO Faisalabad impounds non-duty-paid Hino truck during crackdown

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization Sargodha took into possession a foreign origin Hino truck bearing registration No: LEI-17-3379, Model 1992, valued at Rs4.2million involving duty and taxes of Rs 950000 during a crackdown.

Sources told Customs Today that Collector Asif Mahmood Jah received a tip-off regarding some smuggling attempts. He formed an ASO team under the supervision of Assistant Collector, Shah Samad Hamadani, which also included Inspector Shah Nawaz, Sepoys Afzaal Hussain, Muhammad Anwar and Muhammad Yasin.
