Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-II adjourns hearing of five cases

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-II on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of five cases until the second week of February.

the Customs Appellate Tribunal Single-Bench, comprising Member Technical, Maqsoodul Hasan, heard the arguments from sides and adjourned with a direction to submit related documents during the next hearing.

The bench dated the cases in office for scheduling further date of hearing in the second week of February.

Four of the said cases were against Customs Collectorate, Islamabad. These cases were filed by M/s Shakir Manz, Frhad Khan, M/s Cotec International and Asghar Javed. Petitioner in the said cases had challenged customs decisions. Only petition was filed by customs , which was against M Ayyaz for the recovery of evaded customs duty.
