Lahore: Customs ASO impounds Toyota TZ Parado worth Rs 5 million

LAHORE: Model Customs Collectorate Lahore Preventive Anti-Smuggling Organisation on Saturday, impounded Toyota TZ Parado worth Rs 5 million.

Official sources told Customs Today that ASO team comprising Sajad Bukhari, Shahid Bhatti, Khalid Butt and others under the supervision of Superintendent Mumtaz Ajmal Mian intercepted the vehicles and asked to produce any documents against the lawful possession of the vehicle.

But the drive could not produce documents regarding the clearance of the vehicle, Tyota TZ Parado on which ASO team impounded the vehicle.

It is important to mention here that Customs Preventive Lahore Collector Mukkaram Jah has given orders to officials for expediting the action against the smuggled items and vehicles in the region.

Sources informed that case has been lodged against the owner while further investigation is underway in this regard.
