Customs Court Lahore hears 17 cases on Saturday

LAHORE: Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling, Saturday heard 17 cases pertaining to tax and smuggling and adjourned them for next hearing.

As per the direction of federal government, Customs Court heard the cases even on Saturday to settle the maximum cases as soon as possible. Earlier, Customs Court remained close on Saturday and Sunday due to the weekly holidays and now, courts will hear the cases on Saturday for early disposal of the cases.

Special judge of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling Court Lahore, Nazeer Ahmad Gunjana adjourned many cases due to the absence of the parties.

On the other hand, court has also adjourned some cases due to incomplete challan, presented by Customs Intelligence and Investigation.
