LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 21 cases on Tuesday, besides issuing necessary orders and directions in various cases.
The court heard cases of different types, including pre-arrest bail pleas filed by accused persons named Hazrat Ali, Asad Latif and Noor Jaan. After hearing the arguments, the judge put off the bail petitions until next hearing.
The cases of tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics were also scheduled for the day. The court also recorded the statements of witnesses in four cases.
The cases of Dera Ghazi Khan, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Faisalabad were heard by the court.
