Customs Court hears 7 cases on Friday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 11 important cases on Friday and adjourned until the next hearing.

On Friday, a total of 11 cases of different types were scheduled for hearing, including indictment against the accused persons who are involved in mobile smuggling case.

The cases, including tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were scheduled for the day. A case of Faheem in mobile smuggling was also scheduled for the hearing in which court recorded statements of the parties and adjourned it for next week.

The court also proceeded on statements and witnesses on four different cases on the day. The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for the day.
