LAHORE: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Wednesday impounded a non-customs paid Toyota Land Cruiser worth Rs 15 million, sources told Customs Today.
According to the sources, the anti-smuggling team of intelligence consisting of Superintendents Nasir Minhas and Rauf Farooqi and Inspector Mobeen Malik, on information of Director Saud Imran chased the black colour model 2014, Land Cruiser bearing Registration No. LED-9800 and held at the Wahdat Road.
The sources said that vehicle was being used by one Fawad and on demand of legal documents against the import of the vehicle, he failed to produce anything.
The customs authorities, however, gave few days to the owner of the vehicle to produce documents against the vehicle.
However, the customs authorities are very sure that the vehicle was smuggled and has no document against it.
