DG Customs Valuation determines values of natural raw rubber

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has determined the customs values of natural raw rubber vide Valuation Ruling 787/2015.

The practice to determine the customs values of natural raw rubber was undertaken under Section 25(A) of the Customs Act, 1969.

According to details, the customs values of natural raw rubber RSS and crepe were determined vide Valuation Ruling No 488/2012.  However, the trade community was demanding revision in the prices following its downward trend in the prices in international market.

As per the ruling, the customs values of natural raw rubber smoked sheets under PCT chapter 40.01 will be $1.90/kg for RSS-1,2,3 (ISNR-5/ISNR-10) SLR-5/SLR-10 and equivalent TSNR grades.

The customs values of natural raw rubber smoked sheets under PCT chapter 40.01 will be $1.84/kg for RSS-4 and 5 (ISNR-20/ISNR-50) SLR-10/SLR-20 and equivalent TSNR grades.

The customs values of natural raw rubber smoked sheets under PCT chapter 40.01 will be $1.69/kg for all other RSS grades.

Customs values of natural raw rubber crepe will be $2.30/kg for TPC3 white SLR-3L and equivalent TSNR grades.

Customs values of natural raw rubber crepe will be $2.18/kg for International No.3 (ISNR-5 & ISNR-3) SLR-5L and equivalent TSNR grades while all the other grades will be assessed to duty and taxes at $2.07/kg. And, if the goods are imported in the shape of clocks $25/PMT will be added on each above determined value.
