LAHORE: The Model Customs Collectorate Lahore Land Freight Unit Wahga will remain closed on 4 January on the occasion of birthday celebrations of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
As per details, the government has announced a gazetted holiday on January 4 regarding the Eid Milad-ul-Nabi celebrations. The trade between Pakistan and India via Wahga border will also remain suspended. The Pakistani customs authorities have informed their Indian counterparts in this regard.
Wahga border is the only land route for trade between Pakistan and India. The border route is used for trade of fresh items like vegetables, fruits and other goods like glass, cement and oil seeds.
