E&T Dept impounds 47 unregistered vehicles

SIALKOT: Excise and Taxation Department has impounded as many as 47 unregistered different vehicles, besides, confiscating the registration documents of 198 other vehicles, during an ongoing vigorous crackdown against the defaulter vehicles in various parts of the Gujranwala city and its outskirts including Chan Da Qila By Pass, Kanganiwala By Pass, Aziz Cross Chowk, Sialkot Road By Pass and general Bus Stand Gujranwala.

As many as special E&T teams led by Director E&T Gujranwala Division Rao Shakeel ur Rehman, conducted as many as eight-hour long general hold up in the above-mentioned areas. These teams checked as many as 1100 different vehicles and impounded 47 non-registered vehicles, in this regard
