Excise seals 700 properties on non-payment of taxes

SIALKOT: The Excise and Taxation Department has sealed as many as 700 commercial and residential properties in Sialkot district due to non-payment of outstanding arrears in shape of property taxes.

District Excise and Taxation Officer Chaudhary Muzaffar Qayyum told Customs Today that 700 commercial and residential properties have been sealed, besides, impounding as many as 250 unregistered motorcycles and motorcycle rickshaws in Sialkot district during a special recovery campaign.
