ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) has adjourned the hearing of a petition filed by its former Deputy Registrar, Saiful Islam, who was dismissed for minor disciplinary dispute.
A division bench of the FST comprising Arshad Bhatti and Muhammad Javed Kasi heard the case of the former deputy registrar who was dismissed in 2009 for not obeying the orders of the then chairman, Tanveer Bashir Ansari. The bench would resume the hearing of the case on January 25.
It is pertinent to mention that this case once also heard in Supreme Court of Pakistan, which had remanded the case back to the Federal Service Tribunal in 2015. The case has to be decided by the FST.
