FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) registered 26 cases, including 17 cases against notorious human traffickers during January, 2016.
According to the details, the FIA arrested numbers of human traffickers those were allegedly involved in sending people abroad on fake documents and visas by extorting huge amounts from them. FIA Assistant Director Chaudhary Mazharullah, Sub-Inspector Ajmal Hussain and others conducted raids to apprehend the human smugglers during the said period.
Besides, the FIA registered two cases of other crimes under Section 468, 471, 409, and 420, and seven cases under telegraph act’s Section 66,67A were also registered.
