FST three benches postpones hearing of complaints filed by FBR employees in second week of Oct

ISLAMABAD: Three division benches of Federal Service Tribunal (FST) heard over a dozen service matters during second week of October out of which a majority of the cases was adjourned.

The division benches of the FST comprising tribunal Chairman Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain and M Javed Iqbal Kasi; Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed; and another bench comprising members, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed heard the cases through which the appellants had challenged different administrative measures of the FBR.

A division bench of the FST comprising tribunal Chairman Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain and M Javed Iqbal Kasi heard four cases carrying submissions on ‘promotion’; while another one would hear ‘promotion’, ‘regularization of acting charge’ and other relating cases. The bench dated in the office the hearing of cases. The FST administration would schedule the next hearing.

Another bench of FST comprising Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed also adjourned hearing of cases filed by Syed Sultan Abbas (implementation), Muhammad Yasin (regularization of acting charge promotion) and Fazle Kareem’s case on ante-date promotion.

The bench also heard cases filed by Jan Muhammad Afridi, Rakshanda Aziz Babar and Shaukat Hussain regarding ‘implementation’ and promotion. This bench dated in office hearing of the cases.

Members, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed heard Muhammad Nawaz Kiyani’s case on ‘special allowance’; Aftab Ahmed Razzqi’s case on ‘seniority’; Fakhr-e-Azam’, Sami-ul-Haq, Noor Jamal’s complaints on ‘promotion’; Gulzar Shah’s case on ‘counting of previous service’; Farukh Abbas’s complaint regarding his services ‘regularization’; and Muhammad Arshad Hilali’ petition on ‘seniority’. The bench adjourned hearing for further arguments.
