FST to hear various cases filed against FBR on Monday

ISLAMABAD: Two division benches of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) will hear various cases filed against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday.

A division benches of the FST comprising tribunal Chairman Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain and M Javed Iqbal Kasi and another bench comprising Members, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed would hear the cases through which the appellants had challenged different administrative measures of the FBR.

The former bench would hear four cases carrying submissions on ‘promotion’; while the later one would hear ‘promotion’, ‘regularization of acting charge’ and other relating cases.

Muhammad Amin, Abdul Hamid Khan, Aslam Javed Butt and Idrees Ahmed had filed promotion cases set to be heard by the bench headed by chairman.

The bench comprising Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed would hear cases filed by Syed Sultan Abbas (implementation), Muhammad Yasin (regularization of acting charge promotion) and Fazle Kareem’s case on ante-date promotion.
