Port Qasim-Exports books two more for using fake E-form in gold export case

KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Port Muhammad Bin Qasim- Exports has registered FIRs against two more exporters including M/s Saani Impex and M/s Rubab Corporation on allegedly exporting gold and other precious metals on fake E-forms.

According to details, the MCC Port Muhammad Bin Qasim-Exports has found that the aforementioned exporters were involved in exporting gold worth Rs 2 billion and Rs 2.2 billion respectively on fake E-forms.

Sources added that the authorities concerned of MCC-Exports have found that the M/s Saani Impex was involved in using 42 fake E-forms and M/s Rubab Corporation used 46 fake E-forms in exporting gold and other precious metals by damaging the foreign countries and causing billions of rupees colossal loss to the country’s economy.

It is pertinent to mention here that the authorities concerned of Model Customs Collectorate Exports have already lodged an FIR against M/s BD Enterprises few days ago on account of submission of 11 forged E-forms valuing US$11.64million in exportation of gold to other foreign countries.

Sources informed Customs Today that the MCC Port Muhammad Bin Qasim-Exports has found export of jewellery and other metal amounting to billion of rupees by M/s BD Enterprises, M/s Rubab Corporation and M/s Saani Impex on fake E-forms.

They further said that the authorities concerned of MCC-Exports Port Muhammad Bin Qasim are planning to take similar kind of action against other exporters, involved in exporting gold and other precious metals on fake E-forms.

Responding to a query, the sources confirmed that the authorities concerned of MCC-Exports Port Muhammad Bin Qasim will register more FIRs against other exporters in upcoming days.
