Gujranwala Excise collects Rs 810m out of yearly target of Rs 2b

SIALKOT: Excise and Taxation has collected as many as Rs 810 million out of its enhanced official target of taxes collection of Rs 2 billion given for the fiscal year 2015-16 in Gujranwala Division.

Director Excise Gujranwala Rao Shakeel ur Rehman told that after this big recovery of Rs 810 million taxes, now the Gujranwala has become the second big Division in the Punjab with maximum taxes’ collection, besides, making hectic efforts to bring maximum people under the tax net in Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahaud Din, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts.
