According to the Deputy Director FIA Gujranwala Region Ch Khalid Anees, the arrested accused were already named in the Red Book of the FIA and were wanted by the FIA in the dozens of the cases of human trafficking for the last many years. He said that the accused were involved in sending people in US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Greece, other European and Middle East countries and Gulf States after extorting big amounts from them.

The FIA has also recovered a big number of the fake driving licenses, visas of the UAE countries, fake official documents, stamps of different embassies, embossing machines, fake student visas and travelling documents, the dozens of the passports and fake work permits from the accused.
