IHC to hear plenty of writ petitions filed against FBR

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) single bench on Monday to hear plenty of writ petitions filed against Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

IHC Judge, Justice Athar Minallah, would be hearing the writ petitions filed by Government Holding Private Limited, Mari Petroleum Company Limited, M/s OMV Maurice Energy Limited, M/s OMV Pakistan Exploration GMBH, Attock Oil Company Limited, M/s Rally Energy Safedkoh Limited, Pakistan Oilfields Limited and Zaver Petroleum Corporation Limited.

Meanwhile, the court would also hear couple of tax reference filed by Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL). Pakistan Oilfields Limited had challenged a banking court decision he higher judiciary. OGDCL counsel Nasim Sikandar had filed the petition against FBR.
