Jordanian Labour Minister, Canadian delegation discuss cooperation spheres in 10th session of conference

AMMAN: Labour Minister Nidal Qatamin and a Canadian delegation participating in the 104th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva on Wednesday discussed cooperation in labour market field.

Minister Qatamin and Canadian Deputy Minister of Labour, Lori Sterling, spoke about strengthening cooperation between Jordan and Canada, especially since the two countries have an agreement on labour cooperation. Both officials expressed their desire to promote and renew the agreement’s provisions , due to the current situation in the region, in particular the implications of the Syrian refugee crisis.
