Multan RTO seeks tax bar’s help on Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme

MULTAN: The Regional Tax Office seeks cooperation of the Multan Tax Bar Association for the success of  Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme.

The Regional Tax Office is facing hardships in the collection of tax revenues under the tax amnesty scheme due to non-cooperation of traders and business community. The Federal Board of Revenue has spent millions of rupees for conducting seminars to create awareness among traders on Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme. After the investment of millions of rupees on taxpayers awareness, RTO Multan is so far able to collect only Rs 1.37 million from 17 taxpayers.
