Negligence in tax collection not acceptable: Chief Commissioner Tasneem

LAHORE: Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) Chief Commissioner Tasneem Rehman has directed all commissioners to meet the assigned target as negligence in tax collection will not be tolerated at any level.

According to the details, the chief commissioner has issued these directives to commissioners of all the six zones for the tax collection under all heads including sales tax, income tax etc.

The instructions were issued to Zone-I Commissioner Nadeem Rizvi, Zone-II Commissioner Sadia Sadaf, Zone-III Commissioner Gilani, Zone-IV Commissioner Asim Majeed, Zone-V Commissioner Dr Shahid Sadique and Zone-VI Commissioner Mehmood Jaffri in this regard.

However, all the commissioners has issued directions to all subordinates including deputy commissioner, assistant commissioners and inspectors to expedited tax recovery in order to meet the target.
