Newly posted DG IOCO Pervez Esbani holds meeting to review performance

KARACHI: The newly posted Director General (DG) of Input Output Co-efficient Organization (IOCO) Pervez Esbani  presided a meeting of the officers of the department at his office here yesterday.

Sources told Customs Today that the Director IOCO Shahnaz Maqbool, deputy directors and assistant directors were also present on the occasion.

During the meeting, the high officials of the IOCO briefed the newly posted director general on the performance of the department and also the assigned jobs to the different officials.

Director IOCO Shahnaz Maqbool briefed DG Pervez Esbani on the performance of the department and also stated that the officials have been doing good job in finalizing the duty drawback rates.

It may be mentioned here that an officer of Grade BPS-19 Pervez Esbani was also served his services as Director Post Clearance Audit-PCA and now the FBR has appointed him as Director General (DG) IOCO.

It is pertinent to mention here that the post of DG IOCO was fall vacant for last few months as previously Ibrahim Vighio was served as DG IOCO and after his retirement the said post was fall vacant.
