No proceedings held in Customs Court on Wednesday

LAHORE: Nine different cases were scheduled for hearing in Customs Court but no case was heard due to non availability of judge.

After the transfer of special Judge Nazeer Ahmad Gajana, Special Judge of Banking Court Humayon Imtiaz assumed the additional charge of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling Judge. But on Wednesday, special duty judge was not present in the court so all cases were adjourned for new dates.

The cases of tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics, were scheduled for hearing.

One pre-arrest bail and four post-arrest bail pleas of Asif Ali, Gull Meer, Tahir Iqbal etc were also adjourned for new dates. Pre arrest bails of AIkramul Haq, Musharaf Javed, Muhammad Saeed and Suhail Ahmad also adjourned for next week.
