Only ticket-holder vehicles to enter RTO Lahore

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue Regional Tax Office Lahore chief commissioner has made it mandatory that only security ticket-holder vehicles are allowed to enter the office.

According to details, officials have taken the decision due to parking of unauthorised cars on the office premises. Sources also said that the ticketing system was introduced keeping in view law and order situation. They added that instructions have been given to security officers to implement the orders.

According to rules, ticket stickers would be pasted on the front screen of the vehicles. They would carry FBR monogram and vehicle registration number.

Officials are urged to write an application to the authorities concerned to get the security tickets for their cars.

On the other hand, employees showed reservations on the ticketing system. They said that tickets were being issued to the officers from Grade-16 grade and above. They said that officials below Grade-16 would not be allowed to park their cars on the office premises.
