Pak-China Club for reduction in taxes to boost industrial sector

LAHORE: Pakistan-China Club President Javed Rashid Asghar Arain on Monday said in order to boost the industrial sector, reduction in taxes and custom duty is imperative.

Addressing a meeting, he said that there are so many taxes which are increasing the cost of production and Pakistani goods could not compete in the international market.

On the occasion, Pak China Club General Secretary Khalid Iqbal Khan said with the exchange of trade delegation open new vistas of trade and investment.

Club chief adviser Huang Junqiang said that China is fully committed to help in economic development of Pakistan.

He said many Chinese companies have assured to investment heavily in Pakistan. Dr Shahida Wazarat said the role of women in trade and industry could not be ignored. She said despite limited resources women have been playing a vital role in trade and economy.
