Pakistan’s exports stand at Rs480 million to India via Wagah

LAHORE: Pakistan has exported items worth Rs480 million to India via Wagah border trade route during 16 to 30 April of current fiscal year 2014-15.

As per the available documents, Pakistan exported fruits, salt, cement, gypsum, glass, aluminum ores, woven fabrics, scrap rubber, seeds and other items to India.

Pakistan has exported 2529 metric tons of fruits (HS Code 804-1020) to India worth Rs119 million.

On the other hand, perfumery plants and plant seeds and other relevant products also exported to India in these days, worth Rs20 million have been exported,

Pakistan also exported 42403 tons of gypsum worth Rs67 million to India.

Besides, Pakistan exported portland cement, aluminous cement, slag cement, super-sulphate cement, hydraulic cements and clinker worth Rs119 million to India from 16 to 30April.

Pakistan also exported carbonates, hydrogen peroxide, limestone and glass to India.

As a whole, Pakistan exported items worth Rs446 million to India via Wagha border Lahore.

Pakistani exports to India through Wagah border have increased while import of vegetables from India is decreasing these days as the current season is not favorable for the import of vegetables.

Pakistan also exported vegetables HS code 1302-1900 to India including vegetable saps and extracts and other relevant items worth Rs3.3 million. During this period Pakistan also exported glass products to India worth of Rs25 million.
