Passenger at JFK Airport Accused of Smuggling More Than $250,000 Worth of Cocaine

NEW YORK: JFK customs officers say they found hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of drugs in a passenger’s suitcase this past Sunday.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials say they stopped Dhroepchand Badal for an inspection Sunday after noticing his bags were thicker than usual. Customs officers say they found cocaine in the luggage’s lining.
