KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Monday opened week with negative note and lost 88.23 points in early trading to reach 32788.32 points level.
On Friday, the PSX closed positive adding 74.67 points to take the tally to 32876.55 points level. The stocks recorded the highest trading level of 32906.98 points and lowest level of 32777.11 points, with the volume of 109.22 million shares, having about Rs5 billion value. As many as 293 companies were active; of which 134 advanced, 134 declined and 25 remained unchanged. Oil & gas marketing companies banks was the top traded sector with 11,296,500 volume, while cement remained second with 8,380,200 volume.
