Quetta: The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized three trucks which were loaded with smuggled urea. The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Frontier Corps. The urea was being smuggled to Afghanistan.
Sources told Customs Today that Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Iqbal Bhawana and his team intercepted three trucks near Pak-Afghan border and recovered more than 400 bags of urea which was intended to be smuggled into Afghanistan.
The Customs Intelligence Quetta has seized all the smuggled urea bags and started investigations in this regard. Sources said that 25 trucks of urea were seized seven months ago.
