LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-II has distributed cash rewards among 337 staff members. The cash reward is equal to one or two basic salaries and are distributed among the employees from scale one to scale 16.
The cash rewards are distributed among the employees on the orders of Chief Commissioner of Regional Tax Office-II Rukhsana Yasmeen.
The Regional tax Office authorities deducted 5 percent tax from the cash reward. Sources told Customs Today that the Regional Tax Office recommended almost 1,000 employees for rewards but the FBR approved only 337.
Sources said that reward is purely given on performance basis. The employees who get cash reward are very happy during the holy month of Ramazan as Eid is also approaching fast.
