LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) on Tuesday attached bank accounts of Globaco Private Limited and recovered above Rs 2 million for the tax year 2014-2015.
Sources told Customs Today that RTO determined due income tax liability at Rs 3.5 million.
However, the RTO has succeeded in recovering Rs 2.7 million from the company’s account in Summit Bank.-
The sources said that the accounts of the company were seized on the instruction of Commissioner Nadeem Rizvi by Inland Revenue Officer Rafiq Haider, Inspectors Shabbir Rizvi and Mehdi Hasan.
They said that the RTO is investigating more bank accounts of the company to recover the balance tax liability from the accused company.
