The ASO reached the place pointed out by the informer and intercepted a Bedford truck with registration No: LES-17-3445 and found 1020-Kg of sofa cloths in rolls.

The team asked Arifullah son of Afsar Ali, a resident of Sokri Zabta Khan of district Bannu, to produce the documents regarding the legal import of the items. But he could not provide any documentary proofs on the spot. So the officials confiscated the goods under the customs bylaws.

The raiding party, comprising Inspectors Malik Atif, Bashir Ahmed and Halvaldars Muhammad Ashraf, Muhammad Smeen and Sepoy Naeem Ullah, took part in the execution of the operation.
